It's that time of year again... the club qualifying phase of the North American Pairs (NAP) is on its way! The North American Pairs is a competition where each District selects representatives to compete at the Spring North American Bridge Championship (NABC), to be held in 2026 in St. Louis. The event begins with qualifying games in Clubs during June, July and August. These games are followed by District-level competitions to select players for the NABC.

Our clubs will be hosting a number of NAP qualifier games between June and August. All qualifier games offer 50% red points and 50% black. Clubs will be using stratification limits of Unlimited/3000/NLM 750. Strats are based on the player with the most masterpoints, NOT the pair average. Players who qualify will be eligible to compete in the District 2 final. You do not need to be an ACBL member to play in the club qualifier, but you do need to be a current ACBL member to advance to the next stage.

As usual, Bridge Manitoba will be fully subsidizing the extra card fees incurred for running all of these games, so the cost to our members will be the same as always. June dates for our qualifier games are listed below. Start lining up your partners now!

Thursday, June 5 @ 12:15 - Lorraine's BC (Soul Sanctuary)
Wednesday, June 18 @ 12:15 - Bridge Manitoba (Soul Sanctuary)
Monday, June 23 @ 12:15 - Kirkfield Westwood
