MINUTES OF MEETING FEBRUARY 23, 2026

Vice President Dave West called to order at 4.01 P M President Ray Hornby took over at 4.27 P M.

Regional October 14-17, 2026

•        Minutes of Meeting January 5, 2026, approved as posted. Moved by Barb Parke, Seconded Marsha Kimelman Carried.

•       Financial Report Ray Hornby has taken over the Treasurer duties.  He will have a statement next meeting.    

•       Learn to Play Bridge in a Day next session February 28, 2026, well organized approx. 50 participants registered.

•       Supervised Play and Intermediate Games continue to grow

•       Beginner Lessons by Jim and Keran will commence March 8, 2026 and run for 9 weeks

•       April Sectional April 23-25, 2026, on track brochures are available   5 sessions Pairs games Thursday single sessions Morning and Afternoon. One session Friday Morning, 2 session Swiss teams Saturday Morning and Afternoon.

•       Spring Fling March 21, 2025. Leslie Speirs Chairing the event. Volunteers in place, Flyers and tickets available we will again request that participants donate to the very popular Potluck Desserts which are enjoyed by all.  If anyone has items to be donated for the planned raffles, please contact Lyle.

•       Rookie Master Game Monday April 13, 2026. Monday evening at Soul Sanctuary, contact is Dave West. There will be no Supervised Play game on Tuesday April 14,2026

•       Next Meeting Monday April 6, 2026, 4.00 PM via Zoom.
