She was always laughing about anything and everything in this world, keeping us laughing and smiling with her. Molly was born in Hirsch, Saskatchewan to Russian immigrants. She became a teacher for Grades 1-8 in a one-room schoolhouse in rural Saskatchewan. Later she graduated as a registered nurse in Winnipeg in 1948. Her life centered around her family, neighbours, and friends with whom she enjoyed bridge, travelling, and holiday meals. Molly was predeceased by her husband Bill, and son Gary, as well as her cherished sisters Esther Berenbaum, Edith Rosner, and brother Izzie Pickarsky. She is survived by her son Murray (Ruth Urquhart) and daughter Susan (Jeff Gindin). Much love and appreciation go out to nephew Gerald Rosner and wife Bunty Anderson, who were so devoted to her and who shared many happy memories together with Molly. Funeral services will be held at Shaarey Zedek Cemetery, 230 Armstrong Ave. on Wednesday, October 22 at 11:00 a.m. Donations in memory of Molly can be made to the Canadian Museum of Human Rights or the Jewish Foundation of Manitoba.
