Minutes of last AGM May 27, 2017 were published on the Web Site. Moved by Marlene Pontifex, Seconded by Doug Fisher were accepted as published. Carried.
Presidents report: Was given Vice President John Hindle for President Marielle Brentnall who is recovering from surgery. Copy is attached to these minutes. Presidents report moved by John Hindle, Seconded by Jim Sanders. Carried.
Financial Report. Treasurer Leigh Anne Shafer presented the report..
Highlights .. That the statements show a profit for the year 2017. Report moved by Leigh Anne Shafer, Freddie Mykytyshyn. Carried.
Election of Officers: Doug Fisher Chair of the Nominating Committee reiterated that the process for the election of officers that was adopted in 2016 was followed. A mass email was sent to all members and posted on the web site.

Question re upcoming events. Check the web site events are posted under the calendar up till November 2018.
John stated that Unit 181 will be sponsoring a Directors course shortly.
Question was raised re Sectional rated directors. We currently have only one in Unit 181.
There was a suggestion that the Unit sponsor interested directors that would be willing to rotate at Sectionals and Regionals. John stated that these suggestions would be on the agenda for the next Board Meeting.
