• Minutes of Meeting September 16, 2025, approved as posted. Moved by Barb Parke, Seconded Marsha Kimelman Carried.
• Financial Report Verbal report from Ray year to date showing a profit.
• Supervised Play continues to be popular
• Intermediate Games continues to grow
• Sectional Tournament October 23-25, 2025, successfully had 111 tables of players over the 4 days, hospitality well received and the tournament was profitable for the unit. Discussion followed re the next Sectional April 2026 that the Thursday games be held in the Morning and afternoon rather than Afternoon and Evening. Discussion to be continued.
• Winter Social Event date set for March 21, 2025. Leslie Speirs Charing the event.
• Rady Centre request for Bridge Teachers requires more information. The unit will reach out to them.
• Remembrance Day November 11, 2025, Facility will be closed.
• Wednesday Evening Team game which is run by Bill Treble under the Ambassador Club. Bill is away until April 2026. The Unit will run this game during this time period. Freddie to Direct.
• ACBL have designed new logos for units to use on programs etc.
• Facility closures during the month of December will be posted on the web site.
• Tax returns for our Unit are filed under the Not-for-Profit criteria. We are up to date with these filings.
• Next Meeting Monday January 5, 2026, 4.00 PM via Zoom.
